The international experience of attracting tourists suggests the presence of incentive programs, which provide tourists with special offers and discounts on shopping, eating, visiting tourist sites, parks and exhibitions.
Implementation of similar incentive programs in Uzbekistan will contribute to the improvement of tourist attractiveness of the country, as saving funds is one of the most important factors in the journey.
In this regard, by the beginning of 2018, on the basis of foreign experience, Uzbekistan plans to introduce special tourist (plastic) cards for foreign tourists “Uzbekistan Pass”.
The tourist card will be valid throughout the Republic. Using the card, tourists would be able to purchase goods and services at a discount, including when making online sales.
