Tashkent House of Photography presents India’s architecture

The exhibition, organized by the Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture, India’s Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, presented works of famous Indian artist Shri Kashinath Das.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Vinod Kumar, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuriddinov emphasized that the two countries share historical, cultural ties and similarities of customs and traditions, which contributes to further development of bilateral cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

Exhibitions of works by Shri Kashinath Das were held in many countries of the world. The artist’s works reflect the architecture of Indian people, historical monuments of the era of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and Humayun Mirzo, beautiful ancient palaces and temples.
