Suraj Kumar is co-producer of India-Argentina co-production feature film ‘Thinking of Him’ and this was the opening film at the fifth Indian Film Festival in Hungary organized by Embassy of India, Hungary. Indian Ambassador Mr. Kumar Tuhin presented him Award of Excellence during the opening ceremony of the film. Raima Sen, who acted in the film has also received award. Mr. Peter Szatray ,Minister of State from Government of Hungary, Mr. Norber Revai Bere ,Director General , Ministry of Foreign Trade and Ambassadors from various countries were also present in the film festival.
Speaking to Diplomacy India from Budapest, Suraj, who was there at the invitation of the Indian Embassy, said its a great moment for all the cast and crew of Thinking of Him. The film captured the romantic side of Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore’s well-documented relationships with the Argentinean writer and activist Victoria Ocampo. In 2017, it was the closing festival at International Film Festival in India (IFFI) in Goa.
