President of india greets Mexico on its Independence Day

New Delhi, Sep 15 President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the United Mexican States on the eve of their Independence Day (September 16, 2015).

In his message to His Excellency Mr. Enriqué PeñaNieto, the President of the United Mexican States, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of the United Mexican States on the occasion of your Independence Day.

India and Mexico have traditionally enjoyed close and friendly relations, based on our “Privileged Partnership”. In recent years, both India and Mexico have emerged as dynamic economies. The recent exchanges of visits and frequent interactions between India and Mexico have generated a new momentum in our bilateral relations. We both recognize the strong potential for advancing our bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors in the future.
