A new direction of ecotourism will be opened in Uzbekistan

An ecotourism route will be organized in the direction of Zarautsay, located in Sherabad district of Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan.

Scientists-archaeologists have established that rock carvings of Zarautsay belong to the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods.

Ancestors of country artfully depicted the landscapes of hunting with dogs on wild bulls with the help of red ocher. There are also images of people wearing masks, many wild animals, such as gnarled goat, gazelle, fox, and ibex.

Over 8 thousand foreigners and about 40 thousand local tourists visited Surkhandarya region in 2017.
