Posted on February 10, 2015 : According to the Joint Stock Company National Exhibition Company (JSC NEC) “Uzexpomarkaz”, currently preparations are under way for country’s participation in the World Exhibition Expo Milano 2015 (Italy).
The main slogan of the upcoming exhibition, which will be held in the Italian city of Milan from May 1 to October 31 this year – “Feeding the planet. Energy for Life”.
Coordinator of the preparatory activities for the organization of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the exhibition is the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JSC “Uzexpocentre”.
The purpose of the upcoming forum – providing access rights for all people on the planet to a sufficient number of high-quality safe food.
According to the organizers, Expo Milano 2015 will be attended by more than 150 countries worldwide.
Presentation of opportunities in the production of safe food will help attract investment to start new enterprises on production of food products from the traditional local raw materials, such as vegetables, fruits, dairy products, cerealsю
For the national pavilion of Uzbekistan organizers Expo Milano 2015 provides two integrated modules on two levels in a cluster “Fruits and beans” with a total area of 500 sq.m.
According to the plan coordinator, is expected to create a beautiful, attractive pavilion, harmoniously combines tradition, innovation and creativity in food.
Introductory section will present a multi-million visitors with information about the country, its ancient history, modern potential, developing a strong economy, investment opportunities, cooperation in the field of international transit, tourism potential, culture, etc.
Thematic sections within direction of the “Expo”, commonly reflect the export potential of the agricultural sector, investment opportunities fastest growing food processing industry, food independence and security of the country under a state program, and winemaking traditions and peculiarities of Uzbek national cuisine.
Work exhibition will be accompanied by a continuous display of specially trained cognitive, species, scientific films and short clips by category sections.
The pavilion will be equipped with audio-stereo system for music.
Problems that are brought by the organizers of the World Forum for solutions on a global scale are equally relevant today, as for the whole world, and for the regionю
Noted that the World Exhibitions (WorldExpo) are among the largest economic, social and cultural events in the world. Held under the auspices of the International Exhibitions Bureau (IEB), they contribute to the promotion of national values at the global level, promote cultural, economic, scientific and technical exchanges between two countries. This is the fifth part of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the World Exhibition Forum – Expo 1993 in Daejeon, Korea; EXPO 2000 in Hannover, Germany; EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan, the EXPO 2010 Shanghai, China.
