New Delhi, August 25 The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Republic of Turkey on his election as the President of the Republic of Turkey.
In his message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, the President has said, “On behalf of the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend my greetings and good wishes on your election as the President of the Republic of Turkey.
I have warm memories of my visit to Turkey last year and of our meeting that contributed to strengthening the friendly relations existing between our two countries.
