President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will pay a State Visit to India from 1-3 September 2016 upon an invitation from Shri Pranab Mukherjee the Indian President. The visit comes within the framework of the two countries’ commitment to strengthening their longstanding and historic relations that bind them at all levels. Egypt’s President will meet during his visit with President Mukherjee, Vice President Mohammad Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as a number of officials and businessmen.
The meetings will focus on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas, particularly at the economic, investment and developmental levels, given India’s distinct experience in realizing a comprehensive development and in diversifying its national industrial base. The talks will also address a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
