Ashish Sinha appointed as India's next Ambassador to Estonia

New Delhi, March 04 In a press statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs today Ashish Sinha (IFS..2005) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Estonia.

Currently, he is presently posted as Joint Secretary ( Head of Southern Division )  Ministry of External Affairs.

Ashish Sinha has also handled important assignments in the External Affairs Ministry as Joint Secretary (Summits) & Joint Secretary (G20- Substantive) in Ministry of External Affairs during India’s G20 Presidency.

He also served as Deputy High Commissioner of India to Kenya and India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN-Habitat, Nairobi.

He was posted as Counsellor in Permanent Mission of India to the UN and Indian Delegate in charge of the Second Committee of UNGA and ECOSOC & First Secretary in charge of Trade & Commerce and Cooperation in Water Resources, Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Ashish Sinah is a Post Graduate Diploma (Master level) in Forestry (and Natural Resource) Management, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, India & Bachelor of Science ( Physics Hons.) from Patna University.
