New Delhi, January 09, 2014 Anil Wadhwa, an Indian Foreign Service Officer of the 1979, batch assumed the office of Secretary (East) from January 6, 2014. Anil Wadhwa had until recently served as the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand (Nov 2011 to Jan 2014) and previously as the Ambassador to Poland (March 2004 to August 2007) and to the Sultanate of Oman (August 2007 to September 2011), a NEA release said.
