Kuwait ships biggest consignment of oxgyen cylinders, INS Shardul reaches Mumbai Port

New Delhi June 25 Kuwait Ambassador to India, Jassem Al- Najeem announced that the largest oxygen shipment has arrived from Kuwait at the the Indian port of Mumbai to support India in fighting covid-19 pandemic.

in a statement released by the embassy an Indian naval ship carrying 7500 medical oxygen cylinders arrived at Mumbai port to help the country fight the mutated version of the virus

Ambassador renewed keenness of the the state of Kuwait to elevate the suffering of the friendly people of India during the health crisis it is going through, Kuwait is in the forefront of global efforts in providing India with oxygen and other medical supplies in the wake of massive health crisis following the spread of the new strain

During his recent visit to Kuwait Indian external affairs minister doctor s jaishankar had thanked the Kuwaiti leadership and people for the year ahead.

The government and people of India have appreciated continuous relief support from Kuwait to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Kuwait Ambassador to India, Jassem Al-Najem said

It is worth mentioning that during the recent joint telephonic conversation on May 28th, 2021, Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the State of Kuwait with Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, has renewed the State of Kuwait’s stand and cooperation with the Republic of India to supports it’s effort in combating the pandemic and on it’s part India appreciated the goodwill gesture and close bilateral ties between two friendly countries.
