President Pranab Mukherjee wishes Senegal on eve of its Independence Day

09pranab_mukherjeeThe President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Senegal on the eve of their Independence Day (April 4, 2017).

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, the President of the Republic of Senegal, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend to you, the Government and the people of the Republic of Senegal warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day.

India and Senegal have always enjoyed close and friendly ties.  I am confident that our multi-faceted relations will continue to strengthen and deepen in the coming years.

Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Senegal”.
