Foreign Ministers of Russia, India and China to meet in New Delhi on Dec 11

New Delhi, December 05 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi will visit India on 11 December 2017.

During their visit, they will take part, together with the host EAM Smt. Sushma Swaraj, in the 15th RIC (Russia, India, China) foreign ministerial meeting in New Delhi on 11 December 2017. The meeting is expected to review global and regional issues of mutual interest as well as discuss trilateral exchanges and activities. A joint communiqué is expected to be released following the meeting.

FM Lavrov and FM Wang Yi are also expected to call on President Shri Ram Nath Kovind and have bilateral meetings with EAM.

During the visit, FM Lavrov is delivering a public lecture at Vivekanand International Foundation on the subject ‘Global Affairs and new vistas of Russia-India cooperation’.

Further, FM Wang Yi would be gracing an India-China Cultural evening being organized at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra.
